Steven L. Salzman has been Of Counsel to David Gould since 1986, as well as co-counsel with David on numerous high profile cases. The two complement each other to cover every angle and nuance of each case, and together they generate a powerful and likeable presence in the court room.
Steven graduated Emory University in 1979, and went on to graduate Emory Law in 1983. Following law school and after a short stint in his family’s restaurant business, Steven worked as an associate at the law firm of Werner & Zaroff, P.C. In 1984 he honed his skills as a personal injury lawyer, and began the successful private practice he has today.
Steven is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the US District Court (Southern and Eastern Districts), and the U.S. Court of Appeals (2nd and 3rd circuits.) He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
Steven divides his time between Easthampton and New York City. He is an avid mountain biker and kayaker, and word has it he is an accomplished chef who whips up extraordinary and unique meals for friends and family.
